You don't need
a crowd.
Start with a few.
THE FEW gives you simple, ready-to-use discipleship lessons to help students know Jesus, grow in Scripture and learn to follow Him.
You don't need to preach a sermon or have ministry experience. Open the lesson, follow the guide, ask the questions and listen.
Keep it simple.
THE FEW isn't another youth service. It's a conversation about Jesus with a small group of students.
Gather a few.
Start with the students already in front of you. Three, five or ten is enough.
Open the lesson.
Everything you need is provided: Scripture, leader notes, questions and next steps.
Have the conversation.
Read Scripture together. Ask the questions. Listen to your students. Pray together.
What do I actually do?
If you've never led students before, start here.
Read the lesson first.
Take a few minutes before students arrive. Read the Scripture and leader notes so you know where the conversation is going.
Get everyone comfortable.
Sit together. Grab food if you want. You don't need a stage, microphone or classroom.
Follow the lesson.
Read the Scripture and use the questions provided. You don't have to know every answer.
Listen and pray.
Let students talk. Don't rush to fill every silence. Finish by praying together and giving them one simple next step.
You don't have to be an expert.
Your job isn't to impress students. Your job is to create space for them to encounter Scripture, ask honest questions and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Don't wait until you feel ready. Start with ROOTED 01.
Open the first lesson, read through it once, gather a few students and begin. We'll walk you through the rest.
